A 25-year-old transgender woman was banned from a western Idaho grocery store after customers complained she used the women's restroom.

Thousands of people are expected to join an unofficial counterculture holiday celebrating marijuana in Colorado and Washington this coming weekend.

Officers said Andrew J. Palmer, 22, broke into the home Saturday on the N. 1200 block of Stone and sexually assaulted the woman.

Two adults and their two teenage children were sleeping at the time. A friend was staying over for a birthday party. The fire department found their remains once firefighters were able to enter the house.

Officials say the 16-year-old girl was walking in the 1800 block of N. 15th and was assaulted by a man who was following her on foot. The girl suffered injuries while attempting to flee from the man.

Officials said William Velis, 22, broke into an apartment in a 4-plex on the 4200 block of Abbey Road around 5:15 a.m. and was caught by the resident.

Ross Anderson started getting severe headaches a few years ago and has been battling to get the care he needs. Anderson suffers everything from spine pain to face numbness and initial tests showed he had a brain cyst located behind his right eye.

Officers arrested Josh Burnett on Friday morning according to police. Burnett is the ex-boyfriend of the toddler's mother.

Jeramie Davis served six years of a 40-year sentence for a crime he didn't commit. Davis was found guilty by a jury in 2008 for murdering the owner of an adult book store in 2007. Davis admitted he robbed the store but did not kill the owner.
